CINNAMON ROLLS REPICE
- For the dough :
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
500ml warm milk
1,2kg plain flour
2 tbsp yeast
- For the filling :
400g brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
150g chopped pecans
- For the icing :
500g powdered sugar
15ml almond essence
For the dough :
In a bowl : beat the eggs, salt and sugar together and then, add the warm milk mixed with the butter.
Add the 3/4 of the flour and mix well with a beater. Add the yeast and blend the mixture nicely. Then, just add the rest of the flour, and beat well in a medium speed for 5-7 minutes in order an elastic and smooth dough.
Place the dough in a oiled bowl, cover and set it in a warm place to allow the dough to rise until double.
For the filling :
In a bowl, mix soft butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, blending it until well.
Dough and filling :
Sprinkle a rectangle pastry mat and turn out the dough onto it. Add the filling over the dough and sprinkle the entire surface with cinnamon powdered and pecans chopped
Starting with the bottom edge, roll the dough into a cylinder shape and cut into 12 slices.
Place the slices onto a greased baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
Then remove them and leave to cool. Meanwhile, mix all the ingredient for the icing and blend until you have a smooth texture. Add the icing on the top of your rolls and serve them !
